What to expect
Coaching is a managed conversation in which a safe, confidential space is created to enable a free-flowing exploration of the challenges and opportunities facing the person being coached, working to their agenda. Discretion and trust are essential.
As your coach – responsible for process:
Linda will be focused and flexible; curious and professional; energetic and interested.
The prime objective is always to partner with clients to address the difficult questions, challenge and support them to achieve their goals. The coach’s role is to listen, to guide the conversation and to explore responses with you, to a series of open questions. Linda will listen with curiosity and ask powerful questions.
As a client – responsible for outcomes:
You’ll be supported to recognise who you are and what you could be – and what needs to happen to achieve these goals. It enables learning and personal development by drawing on the experience and skills of both the client and coach, to reveal insights, generate and explore options, apply new learnings, and create a plan to make the desired transformation a reality.
The coach and client work together to:
– Establish some clear objectives – be they specific goals or broader themes
– Develop a deeper understanding of what is important to them and the business and the underlying motivations and purposes
– Imagine some alternative futures and how the client and others might perceive them
– Define some appropriate steps forward
